The Tennessee Valley Authority has a distinguished record of architectural achieve-ments which, at the fiftieth anniversary on May 18, 1983, of the signing of the Act by Franklin Delano Roosevelt, deserve wider public recognition. Numerous publications and articles have been written on general aspects of the organization, but precious few have specifically centered on its architectural contribution, and those primarily in the 1940's and 1950's.
This exhibit is a selective 50 year retrospective sharing the significant work produced by the Architectural Design Branch of the TVA. This series is available as a traveling exhibit. Please contact Sam Yates at the Ewing Gallery for more information.
